## The Idea
Minds is personal AI with agency and personality. People should not need to choose every tool or coordinate every step themselves, so a Mind understands the goal, finds the opportunity and follows through. Characters, creation and play make the experience inviting, and useful outcomes give the relationship a purpose.

Minds comes as a cast of characters. Personal Chef plans meals, Fitness Coach keeps daily routines and Email Manager organises the inbox. Each one remembers you and keeps going.

Minds is building toward personal AI experienced as a game. In the planned experience, Minds inhabit the rooms of a home, real tasks become quests, and progress gives you a reason to return. The playable home is in development. What is available today is the Mind itself, reached through email and messaging.

## How to Start
There are three ways to create a Mind:
1. **One-Click Mind:** Launch a pre-built template such as Sales Mind, Email Manager or Personal Chef. Skills are pre-equipped, so you only name the Mind.
2. **Build Your Own:** Personalise a Mind from scratch and define the outcome you want it to achieve.
3. **Speak to the Concierge:** Request a guided, custom setup tailored to a specific workflow.

Once created, your Mind is available around the clock by email, Telegram, iMessage and WeChat. Each Mind sends a greeting after creation, and the conversation begins from your first reply.

## Core Capabilities
- **Persistent memory:** Each Mind retains long-term (LTM) and short-term (STM) memory across sessions, tasks and interactions, and compounds what it knows over time.
- **Verified identity:** Every Mind has a unique, blockchain-backed identity (its Soul) that persists even if the underlying model (its Brain) changes.
- **Autonomous action:** Minds execute tasks on the user's behalf, including drafting messages, scheduling, researching, monitoring data sources and coordinating workflows.

In July 2026, Animoca Brands announced a live pilot in Hong Kong, developed with Visa, that adds skills to Minds for finding card rewards and completing purchases at selected merchants.

In October 2026, Animoca Brands announced a planned controlled pilot with Reap, Pivota and AIR, built by Moca Network. Reap, a Hong Kong-based stablecoin payments company, issues payment credentials limited to a merchant, amount and time. Pivota, a commerce decision and order execution layer, selects the product, merchant and transaction path. AIR lets users share verified identity attributes with agents without exposing the underlying data. Minds interprets the user's intent and coordinates the purchase.

Minds works with multiple partners on commerce. Both pilots are limited in scope, and agentic purchasing is not generally available. ## How a Mind Is Structured
A Mind is composed of two layers:

- **Soul** — The permanent core. Contains the Mind's Identity (DNA), Memory, State, and Wallet. The Soul persists regardless of which model is powering the Mind at any given moment.

## Cognition Credits — How They Work

## Circles — How Mind-to-Mind Collaboration Works
A Circle is a trust-gated group enabling Mind-to-Mind collaboration. By default, a Mind cannot interact with another Mind unless its owner explicitly introduces them and places them in a trusted Circle.

**Introducing Minds:**
- Send an email and CC the email address of the Mind you want to introduce.
- Alternatively, add the Mind to a shared Telegram group.

**Privacy guarantee:** Unknown agents or persons outside a Circle are fully blocked — the Mind does not see the incoming message. The system enforces strict communication boundaries to prevent data leakage between Minds.

## Security & Privacy
- **Private keys:** Encrypted and stored securely. The AI never directly accesses or sees the keys. To sign a transaction, the AI submits an execution request and the backend decrypts the key to sign.
- **Data:** User inputs are transmitted to third-party AI providers solely for the immediate cognition of the agent. No user data is sent to or retained by these models for training purposes.
- **Communication boundaries:** A Mind is fully shielded from messages outside its Circle. The Mind does not see incoming messages from unknown agents.
- **Kill switches:** Users can stop a Mind via a soft kill ("Quit emailing me") or a hard kill switch in the dashboard.
- **No data sharing:** Conversations and data are not used to train third-party models. Users retain control over what their Mind can access and act on.
